Breath-taking Train Ride Under Dudhsagar Falls! | Train Fanatics Videos

In the Indian state of Goa, lies one of the most astonishing waterfalls known to man! The Dudhsagar Falls are a four-tiered waterfall, its source being the Mandovi River. It is one of the tallest waterfalls in all of India at a height of 310m (1017 ft)!

Passengers waiting at the Dudhsagar rail stop must climb down a steep ladder and climb on board in a short 1-2 minute stop as there is no platform!

The falls are located in the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park forming a natural border between Goa and the state of Karnataka! In this astounding clip, you can see the path of the many engines that pass under the falls in natural and man made tunnel systems!

The falls are surrounded by a large deciduous forest, and wild life is abundant, like the monkeys you can see in this clip!

The right time to take this spectacular train ride is monsoon season, as the falls can reach a width of 30 m(100ft)!

Has anyone here taken this train excursion, or seen the falls? We’d love to hear about it!
