UP #4014/844 Grease Stop | Train Fanatics Videos

Drone footage helps capture these magnificent machines in action at Point of Rocks, Wyoming.

One has to wonder as to why they feel the need to pump grease into the Big Boy #4014 bearings 100 miles or so?

If they tightened the packings glands on the front of the locomotive it might help to relieve the situation? Perhaps roller bearings would be the ultimate answer?
