Passenger Train Blasts Truck At Grade Crossing

A PKP Intercity passenger train in Poland with more than 300 passengers on board took out a truck stopped on the tracks at a grade crossing in Gdansk.

The truck driver got stuck by the crossing arms coming down and panics. He tries to back up and then go forward without thinking he should have just broken the gate in front of him to get off the tracks.

No fatalities or serious passenger injuries occurred although the train driver was taken to the hospital for treatment.
