Model Railroad Brings America’s Rails To Life!
Dennis Mead’s outdoor garden railroad is fantastic with the Hammered Dulcimer music!
Using the music of the Good for Nuthin String Band from Pennsylvania, you get the feel for the traditional roots of America!
This is a fun clip of the backyard shot in excellent high definition. Dennis’s backyard layout is a 2 G-gauge (1:29) scale located in Erie, Pennsylvania.
With the rails being 1 3/4 inches apart to the outside, he is allowed to make tighter curves and a more interesting layout.
The music (Rueben’s Train To Kane) provided by the Good For Nuthin String Band keeps it light and interesting. The band boasts traditional American folk music, with credit going to all of the four members of the group including Micheal J Vickey.
Some of the instruments of the group include:
- The Hammered Dulcimer
- Mountain Dulcimer
- the Mandolin
- the guitar
- the cello
- and the bass
