Winter Wonderland – The Glacier Express!

Imagine yourself in this postcard setting!

Set in the Swiss Alps, the Glacier Express glides through some of the most beautiful scenery on earth!

This particular route includes an 8 hour round trip from Zermatt to St. Mortiz and back. Travelers are treated to onboard dining and panorama cars with huge windows to take in all of the scenery!

The train travels through forests, through tunnels and crosses many bridges in the Landwasser Viaduct before heading into one the tunnels.

The train is electric and traverses on a 3 ft 3 3/8 inch gauge track.

This is truly one of the most beautiful journeys in Switzerland!
