Worlds Longest G Scale Train: Over 336 Feet Long With 269 Cars! | Train Fanatics Videos

Filmed in Griesheim, Germany, the length of the trains is over 336 feet long combined with 269 cars amounting to 944 axles!

Don’t be intimidated by the 13 minute length of the video! Beginning with the initial 3:30 second set up of the train from boxes to the tracks in time lapse photography, you get to see all the work that went into getting the trains on the tracks. After that, the clip transitions to real time showing the amazing length of the trains.

The first two trains are actually coupled to together followed by the third at the end on the clip.
All in all, you have 3 trains representing an amazing amount of effort and thought into the placement of cars and cargo.

The train order:

  1. 4 locomotives, 108 cars, and 388 axles
  2. 2 locomotives, 73 cars, and 292 axles
  3. 2 locomotives, 88 cars, and 264 axles

Trains 1 and 2 are coupled together with train 3 following close behind.
