Cumbres & Toltec Fall Double Header

Denver & Rio Grande #’s 484 and 487 put on quite a display while traversing the beautiful fall foliage of New Mexico and Colorado on their way to Chama, New Mexico .

The states of New Mexico and Colorado purchased the Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad in 1970 and renamed it the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railraod.
