Big Boy Engineer Ed Dickens takes Big Boy 4014 for a test run.

Shown easing back into excursion mode, Big Boy 4014 works out the kinks from Denver to Greeley, Colorado.

The new excursion schedule for Big Boy 4014 includes visiting 10 states thru Labor Day Weekend.

Big Boy No. 4014 will depart Cheyenne, Wyoming, Thursday, August 5th, traveling through Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Illinois, Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas and Wyoming.

Big Boy 4014 will also have overnight stops and display locations along the way. The locomotive and crew will will end their journey in Denver on Labor Day September 6th. On September 7th they will head back to Cheyenne, Wyoming, to the Union Pacific Steam Shops.
