Union Pacific’s ‘Big Boy’ #4005 is up and running in Tauranga, New Zealand!

Magnificent down to the last detail, this is the newest addition to the Tauranga Model Marine and Engineering Society track.

The locomotive was previously owned and operated by Tom Millar in the USA and now belongs to Shane Marshall of Tauranga, New Zealand.

The 7.25″ gauge 1.5 ton Big Boy #4005 ran at the Tom Millar Estate in Portland, Oregon, for over 30 years and was actually built in the United Kingdom!
