UP #3985 Highballing Back To Cheyenne!

UP #3985 Highballing Back To Cheyenne! | Train Fanatics Videos

Turn up your speakers to listen to the awesome sound of UP #3985’s throaty steam whistle!

UP #3985 is seen here making her way back through Arkansas back to Cheyenne after making an appearance for the Super Bowl in Houston, Texas back in 2004.

The 35 degree weather also helped to make the steam and smoke really belch out of her stack.

Built specifically to take on long grades like her cousins the “Big Boys” 4-8-8-4’s, the #3985 Challenger was designed to pull freight fast up long grades without helper engines.
