This magnificent scenery has inspired more model railroaders than just about any other place to in the world! Twists and turns along the rivers with tunnels and bridges gives everything you need to feel railroading at its best!
This clip shows the true life scenery as the Canadian Pacific and Canadian National railroads wind their way through the Thompson and Fraser Canyons. The Fraser Canyon has the main river in which the Thompson River Canyon flows into. The Thompson River joins the Fraser River to create one main river.
The Thompson and Fraser River’s are world famous for whitewater rafting and fishing!
The Fraser Canyon descends through 170 miles of narrow rocks gorges and is joined by the Thompson River at Ashcroft. The Southern most portion of the river is where you find the major transportation corridors for rail traffic and the Trans-Canada Highway carved out of rock and steep hillsides.
