Rail Explorers was started last year by Alex and Mary-Joy Catchpoole in Saranac Lake, New York. The season there covers June 18 to November 1st. Rail Explorers opened in the Adirondacks in July 2015, and tours were quickly sold out.

Your first chance to ride the rails this year is coming up fast!

Now in their second season, Mary-Joy and Alex have added a new route in Hockessin, Delaware, which will be operated starting April 21 through June 14th.

Mary-Joy was quoted: “Rail Explorers connects the freedom of the wilderness and the magic of the railroad in a unique and fun activity that can be enjoyed by all ages!”

Their first season was a complete success with over 80 to 90% capacity, so you’d better book now!
