I would not want to be the person filming this!

Direct Rail Services (DVR, United Kingdom) freight engine #66304 on its Daventry – Wentloog route seemed to run into a bit of a rough patch along the way!

“I honestly thought it was about to come off the track.”

Upon reaching the village of Moreton-On-Lugg  the engine passed a double dip in the tracks, conveniently placed right smack down in the middle of some wet beds. This caused the train to thrash, bend, rumble, and bounce all over the place, a terrifying sight to be sure!

MrThrash37 the Youtuber who caught this on film made sure to report this to the signaler as soon as the train had passed, as he mentioned that “This was the root cause of the derailment near Lydney on the same type of wagons…”

“Thankfully it stayed on this time!”, We couldn’t agree with you any more MrThrash!

Have you ever seen a train this close to derailment in person? We’d love to hear your tales!
