The Museum of the American Railroad coordinated this move of all of its rolling stock to the new location in Frisco, Texas, as part of total relocation of the museum itself in August of 2013.

The clip is narrated by the museum staff and offers beautiful views of this magnificent machine rolling on the mainline for the first time in 48 years.

Big Boy 4018 currently resides in the museum in Frisco and is hopefully going to be restored one day.

The Big Boy could pull a 5 1/2 mile long train on level ground!
