“Spooky Sounding” WWII Ghost Train

“Spooky Sounding” WWII Ghost Train | Train Fanatics Videos

You will get the shivers when you watch these old locomotives creep along to a solemn clank of metal!

Museum pieces belonging to the Wolsztyn Steam Depot in Western Poland, these locomotives are on their way to a bright future of restoration at Powodow Trzeci, in the center of Poland.

See if you can spot the one locomotive that has possible shell damage to the boiler!

All are vintage World War II locomotives and earlier including a mix of German and Polish construction. Examples would be the Polish 4-6-0 Ok1-359 from 1917 on up to the 2-8-0 Tr5-65 originating from Germany in 1921.

The Steam Locomotive Depot in Wolsztyn has active working steam engines as well as an eight-stand historical roundhouse with a turntable from 1908!

Please let us know if you have been this museum or have seen any locomotives being restored like these. We would love to hear about your experience!
