Called the Jacobite steam train, tourists get an experience of a lifetime while traveling this quaint route through some of the most beautiful scenery Scotland has to offer!

You can’t help but be mired in the scenery! The Hogwart’s express from Harry Potter was filmed on this line!

Clip starts out with a scenic bridge crossing near the Inverlochy Castle in the Scottish Highlands. Travels the 41 miles distance from Fort William to Mallaig, passing over the Glenfinnan Viaduct built in 1901.

Located at the top of Loch Shiel in the West Highlands of Scotland,the Glenfinnan Viaduct has 21 spans, the longest of which is 50 feet!

The locomotives used on this line are the LMS (London, Midland and Scottish) Stanier Class 5 (4-6-0) type, of which the opening scene is of the LMS Class 5MT – The Black 5 #45321 The Sherwood Forester!.
